Fernando Torres admits that it was easier to settle in at Liverpool than at Chelsea.

Fernando Torres has revealed that he has found it difficult to make the transition to Chelsea from Liverpool after moving ten months ago.

The striker has struggled with form since making the £50m move, and admits that he found it easier to settle in Merseyside than at Stamford Bridge.

"Chelsea is in London, a huge city," Torres told Esquire Espana. "I come from Madrid, also a great European capital, but this is much more of everything, for good and for bad.

"It's been difficult for me to adapt here compared to when I arrived in Liverpool, a more comfortable place, smaller, where I was surrounded by Spanish teammates.

"In the end, the important thing is to try and organise yourself as quickly as possible. That's what I'm doing."

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old has been named in the Spain squad to face England in an international friendly at Wembley on Saturday.
