Real Sociedad will be bidding to record just their second La Liga victory of the 2024-25 campaign when they head to Estadio Jose Zorrilla on Saturday afternoon to tackle Real Valladolid.
The visitors have struggled in the early stages of the new season, only picking up four points from six matches to sit 16th in the table, while Real Valladolid are 17th, having collected four points from their opening five games.
We say: Real Valladolid 1-2 Real Sociedad
This is a very tricky match to call, as Real Sociedad have been poor in the early stages of the season. Real Valladolid's defence are conceding goals at an alarming rate, though, and we are backing the visitors to navigate their way to a very important three points on Saturday afternoon.

Valencia vs. Girona (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Girona will be bidding to bounce back from successive defeats when they continue their 2024-25 La Liga campaign with a clash against basement side Valencia on Saturday evening.
The Catalan outfit were in Champions League action on Wednesday night, suffering a 1-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, while Valencia's last match saw them lose 3-0 to Atletico Madrid in La Liga.
We say: Valencia 1-2 Girona
Valencia are really struggling at the moment, and we are finding it difficult to back them to pick up a positive result here. Girona will enter the game off the back of successive losses, but we can see the Catalan side shading a close fixture at Mestalla this weekend.

Real Madrid vs. Espanyol (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Reigning champions Real Madrid will be aiming to make it three straight victories in Spain's top flight when they welcome an in-form Espanyol to Bernabeu on Saturday evening.
Los Blancos have picked up 11 points from their opening five La Liga games of the season to sit third in the table, while Espanyol, who have won their last two, are 12th in the division on seven points.
We say: Real Madrid 3-1 Espanyol
Espanyol are certainly capable of making this an uncomfortable match for Real Madrid, who are yet to find their full flow in the early stages of the season. We are struggling to see the visitors providing an upset, though, and are backing Real Madrid to put another three points on the board.
