Jurgen Klopp: 'Borussia Dortmund not on same level as Bayern Munich'

Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp believes that his side are no longer "at the same level" as Bayern Munich.

Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has claimed that his side are not "at the same level" as Bayern Munich but believes that they could still get something from their upcoming clash.

The 2010-11 and 2011-12 Bundesliga champions, 10th in the table after having been bottom in February, will take on Pep Guardiola's table-topping outfit at the Signal Iduna Park on Saturday.

Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "We will invest everything into the match. We don't have to hide from anything.

"We don't think that we are at the same level as Bayern. But we have also never thought that we don't have a chance.

"Even though we are 10th, even though the gap in points in the table is huge, even though a lot is different than it was in the past, it is a home game and that is something that we have generally always taken advantage of before."

Klopp's side have finished in the top two for four consecutive seasons, but are now chasing a Europa League place following a seven-game unbeaten run after being in a relegation battle.
