Bastia score four times to beat Nancy in Ligue 1.

Bastia have beaten Nancy 4-2 in Ligue 1 in a game where they were in control for the majority.

The first opportunity of the game went to Nancy, but Djamel Bakar did not find the net with his shot despite hitting the target.

On nine minutes the hosts took the lead when Jerome Rothen headed in a Wahbi Khazri corner.

Four minutes after that they were awarded another corner; this time Rothen swung it in and Anthony Modeste placed it into the corner with his head.

It got even better for Bastia on 26 minutes as Khazri again was the provider, this time setting up Sambou Yatabare for the third.

Just after the restart Benjamin Moukandjo gave Nancy hope with a goal back, but Bastia stayed strong and got another in the 65th.

Modeste notched his second and Bastia's fourth to all but seal the win.

However, Nancy refused to lie down and were again within two goals of their opponents in the 77th minute with an Andre Luiz header.

However, Bastia saw it out for a comfortable win.
