Atletico Madrid move seven points clear of Real Madrid with a 1-0 win over Celta Vigo.

A single goal from Adrian was enough to give Atletico Madrid all three points against Celta Vigo in La Liga this evening.

There were few goal-scoring opportunities in the first half, Koke hitting the post with one of the few chances of the opening 45 minutes.

Adrian was brought on after 73 minutes as the home side looked for the winning goal, and took just four minutes to find the back of the net, Radamel Falcao setting up the shot.

A lively last 10 minutes saw Celta with a chance to equalise before having to clear at the other end to prevent a second Adrian goal.

Atletico finished the game with 10 men after Miranda was shown his second yellow card for a handball.

The win means Atletico open up a seven-point gap over third-placed Real Madrid, while Celta Vigo remain 15th.
