Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was the target of abuse by a group of angry supporters when boarding a train following his side's defeat to Stoke City on Saturday.

The Frenchman's position has been called into question once again after the North London outfit suffered a 3-2 loss away to the Potters at the weekend.

The result, which also included a red card for Calum Chambers, has left the Gunners sixth in the Premier League table, 13 points below leaders Chelsea.

After the match, fans waited at Stoke-on-Trent station to see the team and when Wenger emerged, a group of supporters booed, with one shouting "get out of my club" and another yelling "fuck off," according to the Daily Mail.

Wenger, who has been manager of Arsenal since 1996, signed a new contract in the summer following the club's FA Cup triumph.
