Arsene Wenger determined to end group stage with win against Galatasaray

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger reveals that he wants to end his side's Champions League group stage campaign on a high note with a win over Galatasaray on Tuesday.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has said that he is determined to end his side's campaign in the group stage of the Champions League with a win over Galatasaray.

The Gunners have already qualified for the knockout stage of the competition following their win over Borussia Dortmund in their last match, but Wenger's men can win Group D if they beat the Turkish side and if the Bundesliga team lose against Anderlecht.

The Frenchman told the club's official website: "We'll go with a strong team of course, we want to win the game. Since the start of this season we have played seven games in the Champions League, including the qualifiers, and we have won four. I would like to win five.

"Galatasaray is a massive club in Turkey. They certainly have the biggest support in Turkey. They had a difficult start to the season and in this group they cannot even get Europa League.

"Turkish people are very proud and they will try to finish well this campaign with a convincing performance, but we play many games and some players are close to getting an injury."

Arsenal lost their Premier League clash with Stoke City 3-2 on Saturday.
