Hibernian missed the chance to go top of the SPL table as they were beaten by Aberdeen at Pittodrie this afternoon.
The Dons broke the deadlock on four minutes when Scott Vernon fed Niall McGinn inside the six-yard box and the Northern Ireland international tucked the ball into the bottom-left corner.
Hibs levelled the scores just after the half-hour mark, Eoin Doyle beating goalkeeper Jamie Langfield with a powerful effort from 20 yards.
Gavin Rae struck the winning goal 19 minutes from full-time, drilling home from close range following Josh Magennis's cut back from the right.
Hibs remain second in the table for the time being, while Aberdeen jump four places to fourth.
