Aston Villa are reportedly close to completing the signing of right-back Andres Garcia from Levante.
The 21-year-old came through the youth system at Levante and has represented the club's first team on 50 occasions, scoring four goals and registering six assists in the process, including 47 outings in Spain's second tier.
According to the Birmingham Mail, Villa are closing in on a £6m move for the defender, who has caught the attention of a number of clubs with his excellent performances, particularly this season.
The report claims that Real Betis and Sevilla are keen to bring him to the top flight of Spanish football, but Villa have allegedly won the race, with a medical already believed to have booked in.
Garcia has a contract with Levante until June 2027, signing an extension with the club towards the start of last year.
The defender has three goals and three assists in 22 appearances in the Segunda Division this season, while he has also featured on one occasion in the Copa del Rey.

Besiktas 'showing interest in Lawrence'
Meanwhile, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Besiktas are keen on signing Rangers attacker Tom Lawrence.
The 31-year-old has scored five times and registered two assists in 15 appearances for Rangers during the 2024-25 campaign, including three goals and two assists in eight outings in the Scottish Premiership.
Lawrence only has six months left to run on his contract, though, and it is understood that the experienced attacker is available on a free transfer during the January transfer window.
According to Romano, Besiktas are 'showing an interest' in Lawrence, with the Turkish outfit's new head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believed to be pushing for a deal to go through.
Solskjaer previously coached Lawrence during his time at Manchester United, with the Wales international coming through the youth system at Old Trafford before going on to represent their first team on one occasion.

Brighton midfielder Moder 'in talks' over Feyenoord move
Elsewhere, Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Jakub Moder is allegedly in discussions with Feyenoord over a £1.2m transfer.
The 25-year-old has only made seven appearances for the Seagulls during the 2024-25 campaign, including four outings in the Premier League, and there is currently a host of speculation surrounding his future.
According to the Daily Mail, Feyenoord are at the head of the queue for his signature, and a £1.2m transfer could go through in the near future, with discussions believed to be at an advanced stage.
Moder's contract at the Amex is due to expire at the end of the season, and he has allegedly been offered the chance to sign a deal with Feyenoord until the summer of 2028.
The Poland international made the move to Brighton from Lech Poznan in October 2020, and he has represented his current side on 71 occasions in all competitions, scoring two goals and registering four assists in the process.
