Tomas Berdych has become the fifth player to guarantee his place at the season-ending ATP World Tour Finals at The O2 Arena next month.
The Czech's spot in London was ensured because of today's first-round results at the Swiss Indoors Basel.
Berdych said: "For me, it's always one of my goals at the beginning of each season and it's an honour to qualify.
"It's just great to be a part of it. It really is the celebration of tennis, only for the top eight guys. It's a huge show which I suppose tennis should be, and for us tennis players I would say it's the best tournament."
Berdych joins Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, David Ferrer and Juan Martin del Potro in qualifying. Andy Murray should also be there but he is out for the rest of the season because of a back injury.
That leaves three places up for grabs and at the moment, Roger Federer, Stanislas Wawrinka and Richard Gasquet are on course to fill those spots.
The Finals take place between November 4-11.
