West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has confirmed that Simone Zaza is close to completing a move to the club from Juventus.
The Premier League outfit are believed to have already agreed a club-record £24m deal with the Serie A champions.
The Hammers are in need of additional firepower after injuries were recently suffered to summer signing Andre Ayew and Andy Carroll.
Today, Bilic gave an update on Zaza's impending arrival, telling reporters in this morning's press conference: "With the Zaza situation, it looks very likely to happen and should happen today. As far as I know the deal is agreed between clubs.
"The personal terms are also agreed and he is due in London today, so we hope it will be done. It's very positive and is a boost. We've been trying for a long time now to get a top-quality striker and he was always mentioned."
Zaza spent one season at Juve following a switch from Sassuolo.
