Nothing could separate Watford and Hull City at Vicarage Road this afternoon as they fought to a 1-1 draw.
The visitors made the perfect start to the match when James Chester headed them ahead from close range after getting on the end of Andy Dawson's corner.
The home side reacted well to the setback, drawing level less than 10 minutes later through Troy Deeney, who netted his ninth of the season.
The hosts were reduced to 10 men just after the hour mark when Adrian Mariappa picked up a second yellow card to receive his marching orders.
Both sides pushed on in the search for a second goal, Hull in particular looking for a winner to keep their play-off hopes alive, but neither could find it and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
The result means that Watford drop to 14th in the Championship table, while Hull remain 10th.
