Report: Sunderland offered Jonas

A report claims that Sunderland have been offered former Valencia attacker Jonas on a free transfer.

Sunderland have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Brazilian attacker Jonas.

The 30-year-old is currently available on a free transfer after surprisingly leaving Valencia following the expiration of his contract this summer.

Benfica have been linked with a move for the 30-year-old, but Sunderland are also interested in moving for the talented attacker, according to The Mirror.

Jonas scored 10 times in 40 games for Los Che last season.
