Jan Verthonghen's agent has announced that the defender will sit down with Ajax for further talks tomorrow in the hope of sealing a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Belgium captain has made no secret of his desire to move to White Hart Lane, with a £9.6m deal believed to be in the offing.
Negotiations ground to a halt when Ajax refused to pay a percentage of the transfer fee to Vertonghen, in accordance with a clause in his contract.
However, Nakhli Mondial has now confirmed that the 25-year-old will try to come to an agreement with the Amsterdam club.
"We have nothing agreed at this moment," said Mondial. "The talks were not easy but we are going to try again, maybe on Saturday."
Vertonghen returned to training earlier this week.
