Scott Parker continued his recovery from an Achilles injury by scoring a goal for Tottenham Hotspur's development squad during last night's meeting with Aston Villa.
The midfielder suffered the problem while on international duty with England at this summer's Euro 2012 tournament.
Despite the fact that he came on in stoppage time as Spurs beat Swansea City 1-0 on Sunday afternoon, he was included in the reserve squad to take on Villa in order to boost his match fitness.
Spurs went on to win the match 3-0, which meant Villa will now drop into qualification group tier next year.
