Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that he is unsure over his future with the South-Coast outfit.
The departure of executive chairman Nicola Cortese from St Mary's earlier in the week has led to speculation over the Argentine's long-term position at the club.
Pochettino's meeting with chairwoman Katharina Liebherr on Thursday is reported to have lasted just five minutes and, speaking to reporters following his side's 2-2 draw with Sunderland today, the 41-year-old said that he does not yet know whether or not he will be in charge of the Saints beyond the current campaign.
"In football there are no guarantees, you depend on the results it will be a decision from the people above to decide whether I should be here," he said.
"It is not me who decides when we meet, it should be the chairwoman who decides. We have not had a chance to speak about next season so I don't know [about the future] yet."
Pochettino's troops surrendered a two-goal lead away to the Black Cats this afternoon, as first-half strikes from Jay Rodriguez and Dejan Lovren were negated by goals from Fabio Borini and Adam Johnson.
