Report: Borussia Dortmund target Diego Godin

A report claims that Borussia Dortmund will move for Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin in the January transfer window.

Borussia Dortmund will reportedly move for Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin in the January transfer window.

The 27-year-old is regarded as one of the best defenders in La Liga, but his current deal with the Spanish outfit ends in 2015.

According to 4-4-2.com, Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp is monitoring proceedings with a view to a move when the winter window opens in January.

Real Madrid and Barcelona have both previously been linked with the Uruguayan, who was part of the best defence in La Liga last season.
