Atletico Madrid defender Juanfran has revealed that he is "looking forward" to Saturday's La Liga meeting with Real Madrid.

Atletico, who make the trip to the Santiago Bernabeu having won all six of their league matches in the new campaign, triumphed in the final of the Copa del Rey against Madrid last season.

"We're looking forward to it. The last time we were there we won so let's go for it. It's a very important game for our fans and for us," Juanfran told reporters at a press conference.

"The good thing is the dynamics of the team, which is all about winning. We go in to every game with the thought that we will always win and that is leading us in the right direction."

Real Madrid are in action against Elche on Wednesday evening.
