Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is confident that his team will win trophies under new boss Rafael Benitez next season.
Benitez took control of the Spanish club this summer following the departure of Carlo Ancelotti, who failed to win a trophy last season.
Kroos has said that his first impressions of Benitez have been "very good" and the German believes that trophies will arrive next term.
"[My first impressions of Rafa Benitez have been] very good. I think that speaks volumes to everyone. He wants us to be a good team next season and I think we have a good chance of winning trophies with him. I hope to have a good year," Kroos told AS.
"The objective of Real Madrid is always the same: to win every competition that we're in. We'll try to win the league, of course. That's the objective, to win every competition, including the Copa [del Rey] and Champions League."
Real Madrid lost 7-6 to Roma on penalties in their first pre-season fixture on Saturday.
