Real Madrid boss Rafael Benitez has said that he wants to make the capital outfit 'a more balanced team'.
The Spaniard, who replaced Carlo Ancelotti at the helm this summer, has also vowed that his side will play attacking football in the new season.
"We want to get to know the players and the players to get to know us," Benitez told the club's official website. "We want to give Real Madrid a style of play according to what Real Madrid is. This time together helps that a lot.
"That Real Madrid is Real Madrid. That it is a team that goes out to win every match, that it is one of the best, proactive, that attacks as well as in recent years and defends a little bit better in order to achieve the balance that will enable us to win more matches and have a better chance to win titles."
Real Madrid will open their pre-season campaign against Roma in Australia on Saturday.
