Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery has confirmed that Edinson Cavani and Javier Pastore both failed to turn up to the club's first training session following the winter break in France.
PSG were back in training on Wednesday to prepare for Sunday's Ligue 1 clash with Rennes, but neither Cavani nor Pastore were present.
Emery has revealed that he will hold a discussion with both players to understand what occurred.
"I'm going to listen to what they say when they come to give their arguments," Emery told reporters. "I'm going to talk to the players when they arrive, and the club will too."
Pastore has been strongly linked with a move away from PSG in recent weeks, although Emery recently played down suggestions that the experienced midfielder could leave the capital outfit during this month's transfer window.
Cavani, meanwhile, has managed 25 goals in 26 matches in all competitions for PSG this season.
