Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cotterill has insisted that he was "not bothered" by the reception he received from Portsmouth fans on his return to Fratton Park this afternoon.
Cotterill, who left the South coast club to take the reigns at the City Ground last month, was subjected to taunting chants towards the end of Forest's 3-0 defeat at Pompey this afternoon.
Chants of "taxi for Cotterill" and "you should have stuck with Steve McClaren" were directed at the Forest manager by some sections of the home fans.
"I have no problem with it. I thought they were very nice really. I thought the Portsmouth fans were very nice and very welcoming," he said.
"They wanted a wave in the first half and then they wanted their moment in the second half. I have no problem with that at all. There was no abuse."
