Southampton director of sport Les Reed has revealed that no improved offer has been made by Manchester United to land Morgan Schneiderlin.
The Red Devils are thought to have offered £24m for the Frenchman, which falls some way short of the Saints' own valuation.
Speaking to BBC Sport Reed confirmed that, despite speculation to the contrary, no fresh bid has yet been placed on the table.
Reed also added that Southampton have no intention of allowing their star midfielder to leave St Mary's this summer, unless the full asking price is met.
Ronald Koeman admitted earlier this week that he wants the situation to be resolved soon, instead of allowing transfer talk to drag into the new season.
