Barcelona general manager Pep Segura has suggested that the Catalan giants are confident of securing the signings of both Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele.
After recouping almost £200m from the sale of Neymar, the La Liga side are desperate to strengthen their squad ahead of the end of the transfer window, and it has been well documented that the Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund stars are on their radar.
As it stands, Barcelona have been met with short shrift, despite lucrative bids having been lodged, but Segura has hinted that both deals may not be too far from completion.
Segura told RAC1: "Coutinho and Dembele are both close. We are hopeful that they will end up wearing the Barca shirt."
The official later added on TV 3: Until deals are closed I can't say anything. We know we have to help the team and reinforce it and that's what we are doing."
An offer of £118m is said to be on the table for Coutinho, while it will take over £90m for Dortmund to be tempted into parting ways with Dembele.
