Liverpool are reportedly in talks to sign Swedish goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt from IF Brommapojkarna.
The 22-year-old has been the starting goalkeeper at Brommapojkarna since the 2008 season, but he is now a free agent.
"It's obvious that it feels terrific, but I try to keep the feet firmly planted on the ground," Sky Sports News quotes Nordfeldt as saying.
"We'll see what plans they have for me. That will certainly be exciting."
Nordfeldt made his debut for the senior Swedish national team last August.
Liverpool are currently seventh in the Premier League with 35 points from 22 games.
