Liverpool have reportedly been told to fork out £29.7m to secure the services of Lille striker Jonathan David.
The Canada international has been in scintillating form for the Ligue 1 champions this season, scoring 12 goals in 21 appearances across all tournaments.
David has a contract at Lille until the summer of 2025, but his performances in the 2021-22 campaign have supposedly led to interest from Liverpool.
According to French outlet L'Equipe, Lille are prepared to let David advance his career elsewhere if an interested party is willing to fork out close to £30m.
The report adds that David is keen to test himself in a different league amid Lille's struggles this term, and he was a target for Liverpool during his Gent days.
The 21-year-old has amassed a total of 25 goals in 70 games for Les Dogues, 10 of which have come in the 2021-22 Ligue 1 season.
