Report: Neil Redfearn 'verbally agrees' long-term Leeds United deal

Leeds United academy boss Neil Redfearn 'verbally agrees' a long-term deal to become head coach at the Championship club, according to reports.

Leeds United academy boss Neil Redfearn has "verbally agreed" a long-term deal to become head coach at the club, according to reports.

The 49-year-old took temporary charge of the club earlier in the season after the departure of Dave Hockaday, achieving a record of three wins and one draw as caretaker.

With Leeds owner Massimo Cellino sacking Darko Milanic as their head coach after six winless games, BBC Sport reporter Adam Pope has claimed that Redfearn is to take over the helm on a long-term contract.

The Yorkshire outfit are currently 18th in the Championship table.
