Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew has urged his side's out-of-favour strikers Fraizer Campbell and Patrick Bamford to stake their claim for a regular place in his team.
Both players come into contention to feature for the Eagles in their match against Leicester City on Saturday as Dwight Gayle is suspended, while Connor Wickham and Marouane Chamakh are both injured.
Pardew says that both players have to produce performances, should they get the opportunity, in order to force their way into his plans.
"I certainly feel this week is an opportunity for strikers to make a case," Pardew told reporters. "Gayle misses one game so he comes back for Man City and Man United.
"Therefore that leaves me with two natural strikers here, Fraizer Campbell and Patrick Bamford, with Chamakh and Wickham both being injured. Whether I play two of them or one of them, it looks to me like one of them will feature for sure."
Palace are sixth in the Premier League ahead of their clash against the Foxes.
