Liverpool and Chelsea have reportedly been given a boost in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic after Bayern Munich pulled out of the race for his signature.
Pulisic has just 18 months remaining on his contract at the Westfalenstadion, and speculation linking him with a move away from the club has grown throughout the current campaign.
Dortmund are thought to value the 20-year-old at around £70m, but that hefty price tag has not quelled rumours that a switch to the Premier League could happen either in January or next summer.
The Mirror reports that Bayern have now ended their interest in Pulisic as they believe that he would prefer a move to England, and that Dortmund would rather sell him abroad too.
Liverpool and Chelsea have both been heavily linked with the USA international, who has found first-team football harder to come by this season thanks in part to the emergence of Jadon Sancho.
Bayern, meanwhile, have reportedly identified Bayer Leverkusen's 19-year-old Germany international Kai Havertz as a possible alternative to Pulisic.
