Jurgen Klopp says that Borussia Dortmund will continue to play in their usual way in the Champions League and have learned from last season's mistakes.

Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has insisted that he will not change his side's playing style in the Champions League.

The German champions will begin their Group D campaign with a home game against last season's Eredivisie winners Ajax.

"We have defined our way of playing successful football and we will not change things too much for the Champions League," he is quoted as saying by Uefa.com.

"Our problems [last season] did not have much to do with our playing style but [were rather] a result of lacking experience. That's what we want to work on.

"We have gained a lot of international experience now and we have also learned that our football is working. But we also learned that we need to make fewer mistakes to get results."

In the other Group D game on Tuesday, Spanish champions Real Madrid will host their English counterparts Manchester City.
