Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has said that Pep Guardiola is the man behind all the success at the Nou Camp.
The 24-year-old also claimed that his manager sees football in ways that nobody else does in the game.
Since he was appointed as manager of the Catalan giants in 2008, Guardiola has claimed 13 trophies for the club, including three La Liga titles and two Champions League wins. Pique believes the former Barcelona captain gets the very best out of all of his players, which leads to more trophies.
"Ever since he [Guardiola] came back to the club, he has kept us at the very top thanks to the way he sees football and the way he motivates us," said the former Manchester United man.
"He sees football in ways nobody else does, and then he explains it better than anyone. Lots of coaches just tell you to move right or move left, but he gives you the reasons why.
"On top of that, you have the way he motivates us. Pep doesn't let us take our foot off the pedal. He's always on our case and trying to get the very best out of each one of us."
Pique rejoined Barcelona in 2008, after initially leaving the Nou Camp for Manchester United in 2004.
