Javier Pastore: 'I am not leaving Paris Saint-Germain'

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore insists that he is staying at the Parc des Princes, despite reported interest from Liverpool, Arsenal and Roma.

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore has dismissed reports linking him with a move away from the Ligue 1 champions.

Pastore, who joined PSG from Palermo in 2011 for a transfer fee of almost £40m, is said to have attracted the attention of Liverpool and Arsenal.

It is also rumoured that Roma are keen on taking the 24-year-old on loan.

However, Pastore insists that he is not about to leave the Parc des Princes.

"All these rumours are false and have nothing to do with the reality of the situation," he told French radio station RMC.

"As I already said, I was the first to choose this club and I will be the last one to leave it.

"I will fight to do well in the PSG. I know there are many players in my role, but I fight for a place without losing my head."

Pastore has scored 17 goals in 76 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG.
