Samir Nasri blasts Arsenal fan Piers Morgan on Twitter and claims that Manchester City will win a trophy before Arsenal.

Samir Nasri has told Arsenal fans that Manchester City will win a trophy before the Gunners end their current drought.

The Frenchman was responding to a tweet by Arsenal fan Piers Morgan, who mocked the fact that the Citizens are likely to end the season without silverware.

Morgan wrote: "Remember this @SamNasri19? Just wondered how that trophy cabinet's coming along?"

The former editor of The Mirror was referring to an interview in which Nasri said that he moved to the Etihad Stadium to win trophies.

Nasri tweeted back: "@piersmorgan I'm aware what I said about titles I'm sure I will lift a trophy with Man City before AFC."

The 24-year-old was subjected to booing during Manchester City's 1-0 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
