Alexandre Pato's agent has revealed that are only a few details left to be worked out before the striker joins Corinthians.
The 23-year-old is eager to return to his home country following a difficult period in the Italian capital and it now appears that a deal with Corinthians is close to being agreed.
Gilmar Veloz, the striker's representative, told Lancenet: "Since the beginning, when we decided for a return to Brazil, Pato and I chose Corinthians.
"If the deal works out, it will be something we planned. We really want it to work out. Pato and I talked to Milan's vice-president [Adriano] Galliani and he understood our point.
"If everything works out, he will be joining a winning squad. There are still a few details to be worked out between the two clubs, but it's not up to me to tell which details."
Pato has played 20 times for the Brazil national team, scoring nine goals.
