Sacked Clarence Seedorf replaced by Filippo Inzaghi as AC Milan coach

Clarence Seedorf is replaced by Filippo Inzaghi as the coach of AC Milan.

AC Milan have sacked coach Clarence Seedorf and replaced him with Filippo Inzaghi.

Former Milan striker Inzaghi has signed a two-year contract with the Serie A club.

The 40-year-old has spent the last two years in charge of Milan's Under-19 side.

Seedorf, who spent 10 years as a player with the Rossoneri, took charge at the San Siro in January following the departure of Massimiliano Allegri.

However, the Dutchman could not stop Milan slipping to an eighth-placed finish in the table.

Seedorf oversaw 11 wins, six defeats and two draws during his brief spell in charge of the team.
