Wales interim coach Rob Howley has named South African-born Andries Pretorious in his squad for the Six Nations Championship.
The Cardiff Blues forward is one of five uncapped players named in the squad, alongside Josh Navidi, Eli Walker, James King and Andrew Coombs.
Clemont Auvergne full-back Lee Byrne has also been recalled along with Exeter Chiefs prop Craig Mitchell, while Ryan Jones has also been included despite a broken thumb.
Wales's first match is against Ireland on February 2.
