Wycombe Wanderers sign Nick Arnold from Reading on a season-long loan.

Wycombe Wanderers have signed Reading right-back Nick Arnold on a season-long loan.

The 19-year-old will arrive at Adams Park after impressing Wanderers manager Gareth Ainsworth at Reading Under-21 level.

"I'm excited to be working with him having watched him play a number of times for Reading U21s last season," Ainsworth told the club's official website. "I feel he's got something. He can play anywhere on the right and is energetic with pace and strength."

Arnold wrote on Twitter: "I'm pleased to agree a loan deal with Wycombe for the season, It's going to be a great chance for me and let's hope we have a good season."

Arnold has yet to make a first-team appearance for Reading.
