French club Monaco are preparing to make a bid for West Ham United goalkeeper Robert Green, according to L'Equipe.
Monaco are seeking a new keeper, having received the news that Sebastien Chabbert will not play again this season because of a knee injury.
Coach Marco Simone has reportedly identified a number of stoppers to fill the void, but believes that former England international Green is the ideal candidate.
Green, 31, has made over 200 appearances for the Hammers in six years with the club.
