West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has suggested that Andy Carroll is likely to be back in action in September.
Carroll missed the end of last season after damaging the medial ligaments in his knee in February, but the Hammers could welcome back their club-record signing in the early stages of the campaign.

Carroll scored five goals in 12 Premier League appearances last season.
