Andrea Orlandi pushes for Swansea City contract extension

Andrea Orlandi says that he wants to sign a new contract with Swansea City in order to be part of the club's future strides in the Premier League.

Swansea City midfielder Andrea Orlandi has admitted that he wants to extend his stay at the Liberty Stadium.

The Swans have had an impressive debut season in the Premier League, and injury-hit playmaker Orlandi is determined to be a part of the Welsh club's new campaign.

"I just want to stay," the Daily Star quotes Orlandi as saying. "The club is taking huge steps forward and I want to be part of that."

The 27-year-old came through his first reserve match for the Swans on Monday following two-and-a-half months out with a hamstring injury.
