Lazio have reportedly made Stoke City defender Geoff Cameron one of their main transfer targets between now and next Monday's deadline.
The USA international has featured on a regular basis for the Potters since he arrived at the club in 2012, but throughout the summer he has been heavily linked with a move away from the Britannia Stadium.
The likes of Sunderland, Hull City, Leicester City and Southampton have all previously been credited with an interest in the 29-year-old, but it appeared that Stoke had held off their advances.
However, Lazio head coach Stefano Pioli is eager to add some versatility to his squad and he has identified Cameron as the ideal player to meet that requirement, according to NBC Sports.
Cameron made 41 appearances for Stoke last season.
