Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing a fresh offer for Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Adama Traore.
The Spaniard has supposedly been identified by Antonio Conte as a leading transfer target for the January window, with the Spurs boss planning to convert him into a right-wing back.
Tottenham are understood to have had a £15m bid for Traore rejected by Wolves a few days ago, but The Athletic reports that the Lilywhites will now come back with an improved offer.
The report adds that the bid will be tabled "in the coming days", and Wolves are still demanding a fee of £20.9m to sanction a mid-season sale as talks between the two parties continue.
Traore's arrival would most likely see Matt Doherty leave the club before Monday's deadline, while Dele Alli, Tanguy Ndombele, Bryan Gil and Giovani Lo Celso also continue to be linked with exits.
Traore has just one goal to his name from 20 Premier League appearances this season and is now in the final 18 months of his contract at Molineux.
