Tim Sherwood gives Daniel Levy shopping list

Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood says that he has given chairman Daniel Levy his shopping list of ideal signings for this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood has revealed that he has given chairman Daniel Levy his shopping list of ideal signings for this summer.

The 47-year-old is unperturbed by the growing speculation surrounding his long-term future at White Hart Lane and has already begun planning for next season by identifying up to five recruits.

He told reporters: "I've given [Levy] a list of players of who I want for next year. You need to start looking, this is the time. The chairman's got a list of the players who I would like.

"There be a list of players and if you get one you don't need to get the other. There are four or five are on there."

Louis van Gaal is heavily tipped to succeed Sherwood in North London once he leaves his post with the Netherlands national team after the World Cup.
