Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly ruled themselves out of the race to sign Standard Liege's Michy Batshuayi.
The 20-year-old striker, who has scored 19 goals in 34 appearances this season, is believed to be a target of Premier League duo Arsenal and Everton.
It was claimed last week that Spurs had joined his list of admirers as they scout for a new striker, but Liege owner Roland Duchatelet has claimed that he has heard from Daniel Levy that there is no interest from Tottenham in Batshuayi.
"There's no interest from Tottenham as far as I know," Duchatelet told reporters.
"I've talked to the strong man of Spurs (chairman Daniel Levy) on Thursday and he has confirmed to me that they don't want to sign Batshuayi."
Batshuayi has recently declared his preference towards a move to Arsenal.
