Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly give head coach Tim Sherwood until the end of the season to prove that he is the right man for the job.
The 45-year-old's future at White Hart Lane has been the subject of speculation after he heavily criticised his players following their 4-0 defeat at Chelsea.
When asked about his position on Sunday, the Spurs boss admitted that he could be at risk of losing his job.
However, Sherwood will be allowed to continue in the role until the end of the campaign after receiving the backing of chairman Daniel Levy, according to ESPN.
Reports have suggested that Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal could replace Sherwood in the summer.
