Tottenham Hotspur hope to offer captain Ledley King a new contract at White Hart Lane.
The injury-plagued defender has been told that he must play at least 20 matches this season in order to be offered new terms at the club, according to The Sun.
The 31-year-old trains away from the first team due to his fitness history.
King has been part of the team who have won nine of their last 10 games in the Premier League this season.
Spurs next travel to Shamrock Rovers in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
