Younes Kaboul has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are aiming to challenge for the Premier League title this season.
A poor finish saw the North London club finish fourth last campaign, while Chelsea won the Champions League to snatch the final spot in the draw.
Kaboul said that the team have now put that disappointment behind them and are focused on improving upon last season's performance.
"It's another big season for us because we can achieve many things, the 26-year-old told talkSPORT. "We're prepared for that.
"We didn't qualify for the Champions League but that is behind us. It was very disappointing for us but we've turned the page now and we just want to finish as high as we can to qualify for the Champions League.
"We had a good season still because we produced some very good football and we're going to do the same and better this season. Our target is to finish on top of the Premier League and we're going to fight for that."
The French international rejoined Spurs from Portsmouth in 2010.
