Real Madrid have reportedly started contract talks with head coach Carlo Ancelotti, with the view to extending the Italian's current deal.
Ancelotti took charge of Los Blancos last summer and led the capital outfit to the Champions League and Copa del Rey during his first season in charge.
The experienced manager's current contract does not expire until 2016, but according to AS, Real Madrid want the deal to be extended until 2018.
The Spanish side lost two of their first three league games this season, but have since won seven on the trot to move into first position in La Liga.
