MK Dons earned a replay thanks to a 1-1 draw against Queens Park Rangers this afternoon.
The first half was a uneventful one in terms of goal action as both sides cancelled each other out in the battle for dominance.
Jamie Mackie drilled a left-footed shot over the bar in the sixth minute and QPR goalkeeper Radek Cerny saved a couple of shots from Luke Chadwick and Adam Smith.
The sides went in level at half time, with neither side really dominating the opening exchanges.
The second half started with the home side looking the brighter of the two. It was MK Dons who then took the lead through a Dean Bowditch goal in the 65th minute. A mistake from Heidar Helguson lead to a left foot strike from Bowditch that beat Cerny.
A hopeful ball over the top from QPR led to an equaliser from Helguson. The striker beat the goalkeeper to the ball and drilled home an 18-yard shot.
Although both sides threatened to steal a winner in the dying minutes, the game ended 1-1.
