Queens Park Rangers have suffered a 0-2 home defeat to Rochdale in tonight's Carling Cup second round match.
Jean-Louis Akpra Akpro fired into the bottom right of the net in the fifth minute of the match and while QPR dominated possession thereafter, they failed to convert the advantage into goals.
Gary Jones doubled the goal difference in the 80th minute with an assist from Ashley Grimes at the edge of the area.
QPR join fellow Premier League newcomers Norwich City and Swansea City in being ousted from the league cup this evening.
